The Rockwell, Somerville’s live theater in Davis Square, is featuring the production “Spiritual Advisors,” four plays by the Asian American Playwright Collective. Arlington resident Karla Goo Lang is one of the five featured actors.
The show takes the stage starting Tuesday, May 6, at 9:15 p.m. Additionally, there will be performances Wednesday, May 7, at 9:15 p.m., and Friday, May 9, at 7:05 p.m.
A recent press release says these plays showcase the wide range of Asian American and Pacific Islander stories by featuring various cultures and family dynamics. “Spirtual Advisors” features four visits from specters; a mysterious truthteller, a warrior goddess, a dream fairy, and a 7-year-old with curious arcane insight.
Goo Lang is a theater artist who has performed all over the state.
